Not many realize exactly how much of a vital role Ken Home Design plays in the Singapore construction and Singapore Interior design trade. With experience that dates back to 1965, Mr. Ken Ho’s history in the construction and Interior design trades is something of a rags to riches journey that inspires awe and respect. Mr. Ken Ho began his career in sales, but due to poor management and work ethic in the management of the company he worked for, he chose to leave and start his own business.
Mr. Ken Ho joined the Mei Gao construction firm in order to gain knowledge and experience in this field; this is when Mr. Ken Ho’s talent and vision emerged. Since the Mei Gao construction firm was not doing very well and the management had decided to give up on the firm, Mr. Ken Ho stepped in and helped turn the company around so that it began showing a profit.
However, during the 1980’s because of the economic downturn, Mr. Ken Ho chose to take a break from the construction business. During the 1990’s he began venturing into other businesses. In 1997 Mr. Ken Ho took advantage of the economic upturn in construction and transformed Mei Gao into Ken Home Design adding Mr. Jason Tan’s interior design experience and talent to his new enterprise.
